The Valuation Method

BrickX engages an independent, external valuer for the property valuation process. Our valuers use a direct comparison method utilising comparable evidence for all properties in our portfolio. This means that valuations are based on historical sales of properties with similar characteristics in the same suburb over the period.

Properties are typically valued semi-annually, noting that each property must be valued at least once per year. Properties that are under development or a sale process may also be excluded from a semi-annual valuation process.
