Question:
Hi there,
I would like to invest for my son, without him knowing it – like starting to buy a few bricks for him then transfer the lot to him at a later stage. I would use my address and bank account to start with. Would it be possible to change this later on to his own address and bank account?
Thank you,
Gerard
Answer:
Hi Gerard,
Thanks for your question and as a Dad, it’s great to see other parents out there so passionate about saving on behalf of their kids.
We don’t currently offer the option to open children’s accounts, but you could set a BRICKX account up under your own name and manage it for your son.
Please note the account will forever be in your name. To give your son the proceeds of it, you’d need to sell the Bricks and give him the money.
We are looking to launch children’s accounts in the near future. We’ll keep you posted!
Happy investing,
Anthony
